Vanessa @ 9:10 am

Dustin, My question is about Vacuums. Once I exhale completely and pull my abs to my spine, can I continue breathing shallowly (while still sucking my abs in) or do I NEED to not breathe? If so, why? Thanks.

sue @ 3:42 pm

My question concerns a nutritional aspect of helping to improve the appearance of the core. After a long workout of heavy weights and core, I am wondering about the timing of getting in the right nutrition.

For a weekday :If I do my core and workout after a typical workday, I try to have a 100 calorie high protein snack and a little caffeine before. Then after, I usually just eat dinner which is usually protein and vegetables. I really dont do carbs at night, and sometimes I am still hungry. Is this a good strategy or would you suggest something different as this is my typical routine 4 days a week. Is this the best way to time the meals for a late day workout and still get the core to slim down?

Then on weekends, if I do my workouts in the morning, after breakfast (about 90 minutes after) when I am done working out, I have a high protein maybe 200 calorie something, but then I am still super hungry and end up eating lunch about an hour after that, then it is a long time till my puny tiny snack and light dinner, and then I might eat too much, since it is the weekend and available. Would you suggest a bigger after workout snack and wait for lunch or perhaps another option?

thanks -

I have a few questions for you…

1. Why do I yawn when I am working out hard?

2. Tips for cutting out sugar, best to go cold turkey?

3. Why did I see good results right away in the first weeks and now it’s getting harder to see results?

Debbie @ 11:35 am

1. I am going to be starting Boot Camp. I expect to experience muscle aches and pain. How do you make it though 5 daily classes with achy muscles - any suggestions besides heat, promote water intake, massage. I have heard Fish Oil and White Tea since they are high in anti-oxidants…….. Thanks!:)

2. Any product you recommend to rev up your metabolism?

Debbie @ 11:36 am

What channel will you be on???????

Patty @ 4:00 pm

I yawn too!!! Weird!

Patty @ 5:07 pm

Is this where we come tonight?? Where do we sign up for our password you mentioned?

I see Abby is wearing a packers shirt. So sorry! What a game!!! (Go Vikings!)

Susannah @ 8:39 pm

I travel about once a month for work and would like some ideas for core exercises to do in my hotel room without any equipment. Any suggestions?

-Susannah

Amanda @ 8:50 pm

What is a “recovery” drink and is it important to drink one after every workout. Do you have any recommendations?

Also, how tall are you and Abby? You look tall like my husband - he is 6′6″ and I am 5′8″. Just want to see if you could look similar to you two once we get all healthy and fit:) How many calories do you eat compared to Abby. My hubby and I are eating about the same portions - which can’t be right considering our size difference.

Thanks!

Patty @ 8:50 pm

Can abby demonstrate the exercise where she lies on her back with the ball between her feet and goes side to side? I have a hard time going all the way to the floor on each side.
