Crystal currently holds the biggest weight loss of any of my clients.  It has been an honor to see her transformation over the past two years.  One of the things I love about Crystal is that she loves to learn.  She has studied exercise and nutrition so much that she can have extremely in depth and intelligent conversations about pretty much any nutritional topic.  She certainly has learned that knowledge is power.  Crystal also has the gift of communication and has been inspiring her friends and family to take their health and fitness to the next level.  She also has an amazing blog that you should check out at theyellowspace.com.

Crystal has been part of Fit Fun Bootcamps for about 18 months and she is a perfect example that full transformation can come to a person when they make it a big enough priority and have a big enough “WHY.”

You might be wondering what it type of food someone would eat to lose that much weight and keep it off.  Crystal has been generous enough to post some of her favorite recipes.

-Stuffed peppers, sauteed zucchini, and cooked squash

-Lemon pepper chicken, swiss chard, brussel sprouts, and everyday meatloaf

-Spaghetti meat sauce, spaghetti squash, and spice rubbed roasted chicken

  1. Crystal, I had meant to email you last wk. when we were with Dustin and he shared
    some of his “chef’s meals” with us:)! Those stuffed peppers were outa’ sight-I loved
    them!! And Greg gave top honors to your chili :).

    And, I’ll tell you again, your “testimony” at Dustin’s party was wonderful-and had me
    asking then if you do this a lot-! It will truly be exciting to see where the Lord leads
    you, with all of that talent in so many areas, so much passion for all the new victories
    that you have been experiencing!

    And oh my, that picture of you at the party-the two of you made the best looking
    couple! But it is the joy in your eyes that speaks volumes of far more than an outward
    transformation……it reminds me of this book that I have started, “Made to Crave-Satisfying Your Deepest Desire With God, Not Food”, by Lysa Terkeurst. Has anybody read this book-what do you think??

    I hope Dustin keeps sharing your recipes with us-we gals NEVER get tired of recipes-ha! And it is over the top when someone, like you, lets us in on a week of actual daily menus and how those recipes work into a healthy day of eating.

  2. Absolutely fantastic and inspiring story!! I have just recently returned to doing Dustin Maher’s Fit Mom’s for Life videos at home and realize how much I miss feeling strong and good about myself! Thank you Crystal for reminding me how good the transformation feels! I feel motivated again:)
