6 Fat Burning Exercises You Can Do At Home Watching TV

Jennifer a year ago 100 lbs heavier

Do you sometimes feel guilty for watching TV?  I know sometimes I do.  One way to help feel less guilty about watching your favorite guilty please TV show is to workout, either during the show, or on the commercial breaks.  Another way is to just stay moving and active when you are doing chores around the house.  This shouldn’t be the only exercise you do, but can definitely burn a few extra calories throughout the day and keep your mind alert.

Before I share with you the video, I just want to give a shout out to my Fit Fun Bootcamper Jennifer, who in the past 12 months has dropped a cool 100 lbs!  That means she consistently lost 2 lbs a week for a whole year.  She isn’t even the same person as I knew before.  At another time, I will let Jennifer share her complete story with everyone, but for now be amazed at her before pic compared to where she is at in the video.  Great job Jennifer, I am proud of you as well as your awesome photography business you have grown.  Jennifer’s story will also be featured in my book that is coming out this summer.

  1. That is Awesome Jennifer!
I love the Russian twists and find myself doing these with my kids when we watch The Biggest Loser.

    That is Super Great Jennifer.
I like to do my vaccums while watching TV and then when the commercials come on then I do the stairs.

  3. Congratulations Jennifer! I love the idea of squats while brushing your teeth…I’m definitely going to try this one. My favorite exercise to do while watchting TV is leg lifts.

  4. PS – what are vacuums excersises?

  5. Good job Jennifer!
Dustin, I’m adding squats to my toothbrushing routine. I thinks kids will love this too.

  6. I do front and side planks while watching TV. I try to hold a plank during the entire commercial break.

  7. Awesome job Jennifer! You should be proud! I like to do pushups on the kitchen counter and will also sneak some in when putting clothes into the dryer. I’m not much of a tv watcher but will break things up by adding “bits” of fitness and weave it into my day in between full workouts!
